ABOUT

Yessie Klein is a photographer, director, psychologist, ux-ui designer and film producer with several projects in Spain, Australia, Mexico and USA.

She started working at National Geographic with projects on sexual harassment and gender discrimination. She worked at Google Sydney as Executive Producer of Asia and Pacific and collaborated on Netflix projects with “We speak dance”, the short film “Dearly Beloved”. She has directed the shorts “Mas alla” and “Undecided”, commercials and award-winning music videos. Her work has been presented at the Miami Film Festival and Cinequest in Los Angeles.

Creator, producer and writer of the interactive anthology series “The System”, ”Moralitie”. “Wo | man” and the documentaries “Freeriders”.

Her energy is focused on making a difference in this world, breaking the barriers between gender inequality, race, ethnic origin and their social situation.

FreeRiders is a 30 min traveling documentary, portraying real-life situations shaped by the women who choose a different path from stereotypical mainstream.
